Revolutionizing Pest Control: Environmentally-Friendly Solutions for Flies, Mosquitoes, and Birds

In November, amidst a surge in common house flies, I acquired a remarkable wand. With precision, I aimed it directly at these airborne pests. While it didn't startle them outright, within moments, they gracefully dispersed and refrained from returning for hours. This magical tool proved invaluable during our festive Boxing Day luncheon with friends. Its versatility extends beyond just flies, as it also proves effective against wasps, both the common variety and the elegant Paper Wasp with its long, delicate legs.

 

The Pest Pulsar exhibits its prowess during the months of July and August when Paper Wasps are in search of nesting sites. Remarkably, these wasps, although not startled, exhibit a graceful departure upon encountering the wand's deterrent force. On the other hand, the more aggressive ground-patrolling common wasps perceive it as a threat and mount an initial attack, yet even they exhibit a reluctance to return once the wand is deactivated.

 

Drawing from my experience in the aviation industry, where the dangers of bird strikes are all too evident (as exemplified in the film "Sully"), I decided to put this technology to the test. At a distance of roughly 200 meters, I directed the wand toward two approaching pigeons, and to my amazement, both birds swiftly altered their course to evade the emitted beam. Subsequent repetitions of the experiment yielded the same impressive results. This innovation holds great promise for aviation safety, particularly as it pertains to birds heading perilously close to aircraft engines and intakes.
